August is Vacation Time
So, like almost everyone else, West Trinity is taking some vacation time!
Well – we are working on some new tunes while we relax…more on that in a future post.
We hope you are all staying cool (leterally and figuratively) out there – we will see you in September…
Congrats to Cindy and Carlos
Carlos Santana proposed to Cindy Blackman as the two played on stage together just a few nights ago.
Cindy is the drummer one associates most closely with popular 1990′s Lenny Kravitz videos.
Congrats to the happy couple. Whatta move – that Santana dude is SLICK.
Gigs, Posters and Such
July is coming…West Trinity is back at the Cellar in Fuquay and then back to the Blue Bayou in Hillsboro.
Both of these venues are always fun for the band. The Cellar show will be in the acoustic guitar format, while the Bayou show is all electric.
So many people ask about the posters.
Bassist and composer Kenray creates these pieces, which are then printed by either East Coast Digital in Morrisville, NC or by the Sue Forrest Agency in Durham, NC.
The posters are also uploaded for archiving purposes at Deviant Art.
We are very happy that you like them!!!
Roll Camera at the Broad Street Cafe
We are hoping to have several cameras rolling at the Broad Street Cafe show on Saturday, June 12. What video we have of the band has mostly been shot from a tiny (and crappy) old digital camera. And with sound in mono. We hope to fix that at this show.
West Trinity has played several times at the BSC, and it is one of our favorites. The stage is great, the sound system is superlative, and the venue goes “no-cover” on a Saturday night.
If you’ve not seen the band play an electric show recently, you really should come out for this one.
We hope to see you there!
Back to Brewballs!
West Trinity returns to Burlington this weekend!
The last time we played Brewballs was the St. Baldrick’s benefit to support childrens cancer research.
This time we are coming just for the sake of rocking the joint.
Come out and see us if you can – free BUTTONS for all!
